EDLD 5352 Update

3 classes to go....

  • A reflection and status report of your Campus-supervised Internship activities. Where are you in implementing your Internship Plan? What activities are remaining?

  • For Domain 1 I have 18 more activities that I would like to complete.
For Domain 2 I have 16 more activities that I would like to complete.
For Domain 3 I have 11 more activities that I would like to complete.

Some of the activities may be excess activities that are already completed by different activities in the same Competency.  Some of the activities listed above in the breakdown have been completed but I have not completed my reflection for it, so I have still marked it as needing to be completed.  I have completed summaries on 22 activities.

  • A reflection and status report of your Action Research Report activities. Where are you in completing that work? What activities are remaining?

  • I have not completed much work on my AR since EDLD 5397.  I am still in the process of gathering and sifting through data for the project.  There was a slight hiccup in the research as the school changed one of the policies that was being studied.  I am going to have to cut my research by 1 semester in order to keep all processes the same.

  • A reflection of your technology skills and knowledge gained in this course

  • I learned how to create a Google Doc through this course and also how to create Google Sites.  I use Google Docs on a daily basis in the school I work at.  I was not sure how to create it as it had been done for me previously.   I also learned how to add writers to the Doc and how to embedd it into the Google Site.  Now that I learned how to create a Google Site I have actually started using it for a cross curricullar project I am working on.  Each student group has their own Google Site and the information is loaded onto the Google Site each day.  The Google Site is easy to use and it keeps the students information all in one spot each day.  I already work in a PBL school so that was nothing new for me to learn.  I have also experimented with Flipped Instruction so that was not new either.  Our district has had a huge push toward using Web2.0 tools and our campus piloted a few of them.
